Solution for the bug that can not install KB936181 or continue to alert of this update

  1. Download KB936181 installation file manually, from Security Update for Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2 (KB936181).
  2. If installed KB936181 before, remove it by executing the downloaded executable file
  3. Install the KB936181 from the executable file.
  4. Check the installation. The version number of %windir%\system32\msxml4.dll should be 4.20.9848.0
