Install Apache HTTP server on Redhat Linux

Usual Commands:

Download : $ lynx http://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi
Extract .gz : $ gzip -d httpd-2_1_NN.tar.gz
Extract .tar : $ tar xvf httpd-2_1_NN.tar
Configure : $ ./configure --prefix=PREFIX
(PREFIX)
Compile : $ make
Install : $ make install
Customize : $ vi PREFIX/conf/httpd.conf
Test : $ PREFIX/bin/apachectl start

Note: NN must be replaced with the current minor version number, and PREFIX must be replaced with the filesystem path under which the server should be installed. If PREFIX is not specified, it defaults to /usr/local/apache2.

From impression of first eye, PSPad is a clone-ware of UltraEdit (Hope this may not offend the author). And the Notepad++ is just a product of hacker (maybe crazy programmer). I love the UI of PSPad more.

Use IrfanView to replace Acdsee.

Here is IrfanView's features. IrfanView supports most major image formats, and this program has many plugins and languages.

I evaluate this software for more than one week, and I think it's better than WinXP built-in image viewer. Now I am listening the WMA song with IrfanView! :)However, I didnot find the button to set current viewing image as my desktop background. :(
